Perusahaan Sodexo Live! mengumumkan lebih dari 500 resep telah dibuat oleh beberapa koki, termasuk chef bintang tiga Michelin, Alexandre Mazzia, untuk memberi makan 15.000 atlet di desa Olimpiade Paris 2024.

Restoran di kampung atlet ini bakal menampung hingga 3.500 atlet dan bakal buka sepanjang waktu. Sekitar 1.000 tenaga kerja bakal dikerahkan untuk memberikan nyaris 40.000 jasa setiap hari.

Di antara lebih dari 500 resep, 120 menu spesial harian bakal ditawarkan, sepertiganya merupakan vegetarian.

Untuk ini, perusahaan Prancis mengandalkan beberapa chef termasuk Alexandre Mazzia, chef berbintang Akrame Benallal, dan Amandine Chaignot.

Selain perkampungan atlet, Sodexo Live! bakal menyediakan katering di 14 tempat kejuaraan Olimpiade dan 8 tempat Paralimpiade. Mitra Paris 2024 juga bakal menyiapkan 6.000 makanan per hari untuk staf desa.

Mengenai tawaran nan diajukan kepada masyarakat umum, 60% hidangannya adalah vegetarian. Dengan tujuan nan diumumkan oleh Paris 2024 untuk mengurangi separuh jejak karbon dibandingkan dengan Olimpiade sebelumnya, 80% produk bakal berasal dari Prancis, termasuk 25% nan berjarak kurang dari 250 km dari letak katering.
